At Christ Lutheran Church, special events aren’t just a time for us to have fun, it’s a time for us to fellowship together, to get to know each other a little better, and to worship and serve God. And all are always welcome. So, whether it’s roasting s’mores around the campfire, enjoying a potluck meal, or coming together for a service project, you can see the upcoming special events below. Sunday School

At CLC, children begin in the sanctuary with their parents and grandparents which builds community and spiritual family. After the children’s message (yes, there’s a message geared specifically to the children every Sunday), those who wish to participate in Sunday School are dismissed to their classes (those who wish to remain with their family in the sanctuary are welcome to do so.) Sunday School is a time of lessons, activities, and fun as children learn about God’s love for us through Jesus.

Confirmation

When youth enter 6th to 8th grades, they are invited to participate in Confirmation classes. Confirmation is a time when faith formation and spiritual growth are critically important (especially when the world is pulling youth in ways that are very attractive, but not very Godly.) Our confirmation program is a two-year program that prepares Confirmands to live knowing that God is with them … always.

Around the Pit

On Saturday, August 29th, we will gather for another Around the Pit. We will have a light dinner at 5:30 p.m. We will have s’mores, campfire songs, the “World Famous” CLC Long Drive Contest & more! It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to get together and fellowship. You can sit at one of our picnic tables, or feel free to bring a lawn chair.
